01 — THE STORY

NOT JUST A SPACE FOR RENT

From the very beginning, the idea was not simply to create a space for rent, but to build a professional production environment based on real on-set experience and designed around the needs of the people who work in it.

Across more than 1,000 m², Anamorphstudio combines industrial architecture, high ceilings, large windows, a cyclorama and a variety of spaces that can be transformed according to the visual concept of each project.

The studio provides 750 kW of three-phase electrical power, professional lighting and grip infrastructure, a freight elevator and loading ramp for equipment and set pieces, backstage and makeup areas, as well as a large free parking area for crews and production vehicles. And all of this is located approximately 3 km from the very centre of Sofia.

Cameras, lenses, lighting, grip equipment and technical support can all be provided on site – from portrait sessions and interviews to music videos, commercials, fashion productions, television and film projects, all within a single production environment.

Our professional experience is embedded in the way the studio has been designed and organised. From its scale and electrical capacity to equipment access, lighting infrastructure and the organisation of individual working areas, every element has been considered in relation to the realities of the production process.

Because a good studio is not simply a place where you can shoot. It should allow you to work.

02 — THE SPACE

A SPACE THAT ADAPTS TO THE PROJECT

Anamorphstudio is not built around a single permanent set or a predetermined visual identity.

Its industrial architecture, high ceilings, large windows, cyclorama and different shooting areas provide the freedom to work with the existing environment or build a completely new set according to the specific visual concept of the project.

The space itself can become part of the frame. It can be transformed into a set. Or it can simply provide the scale and freedom required to create an entirely new environment from the ground up – for productions of different scales and creative directions, without imposing a predetermined aesthetic.

03 — INFRASTRUCTURE

INFRASTRUCTURE FOR REAL PRODUCTION

A professional film set requires much more than square metres. That is why Anamorphstudio is organised as a fully functional production environment.

04 — OUR PEOPLE

CREATED BY PEOPLE WHO WORK IN FILM

We understand the production process not only as people providing a space, but through our everyday experience working on set.

We know how much ceiling height and working distance matter when building a lighting setup. We know how much time proper loading access can save. We understand the importance of sufficient electrical capacity and how much more efficiently a production can operate when the necessary equipment and infrastructure are available in one place.

Most importantly, we understand that every production has different requirements. That is why Anamorphstudio was not created to determine what a shot should look like.

It was created to provide the space, technical capabilities and creative freedom needed to make that shot possible.
