EQUIPMENT

An equipment booking is considered confirmed once the requested equipment, rental period and applicable rates have been agreed upon and confirmation has been issued by Anamorphstudio.

Anamorphstudio may request information about the Renter, the production, shooting location and intended use of the equipment.

All equipment is subject to availability for the requested rental period.

An advance payment may be required in order to confirm a booking.

Depending on the type and value of the equipment, Anamorphstudio reserves the right to require a security deposit. The amount of the deposit is determined individually for each rental.

The security deposit will be refunded after the equipment has been returned and inspected, provided that there are no missing items, damage or outstanding obligations related to the rental.

All listed prices are exclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated.

Anamorphstudio’s cooperation with an insurance provider does not mean that every item of equipment is automatically insured for every individual rental.

When insurance coverage is required, it must be arranged in advance and is subject to approval by the insurance provider. The standard review and approval process usually takes approximately 3 to 4 business days.

Depending on the production, additional documentation and information regarding the project, shooting location, rental period and persons responsible for operating the equipment may be required.

If insurance coverage is not approved or arranged, Anamorphstudio may require an additional security deposit or decline to release certain equipment.

Equipment is released directly to the Renter or to a person authorised by the Renter in advance.

At the time of collection, the Renter is responsible for inspecting the equipment, its accessories and its overall technical and physical condition.

By accepting the equipment, the Renter confirms that it has been received in proper working condition and with the agreed accessories, unless otherwise noted at the time of collection.

Responsibility for the equipment transfers to the Renter upon collection and remains with the Renter until the equipment has been returned and accepted by Anamorphstudio.

All equipment must be used for its intended professional purpose and in accordance with the manufacturer’s operating requirements.

The Renter is responsible for providing appropriate conditions for operation, transportation and storage and must take all reasonable precautions to protect the equipment from impact, falls, water, moisture, dust, excessive temperatures, theft and unauthorised access.

The equipment may not be transferred to third parties or used for a different production where such use materially changes the conditions or risk of the rental without prior approval from Anamorphstudio.

The Renter may not dismantle, repair, modify or otherwise interfere with the equipment without prior authorisation from Anamorphstudio.

In the event of damage, loss, theft or any other incident involving the equipment, the Renter must notify Anamorphstudio immediately.

In the event of theft or any incident requiring the involvement of the relevant authorities, the Renter is responsible for filing the appropriate report without delay and providing Anamorphstudio with all relevant documentation.

The Renter is responsible for any damage, loss or missing equipment occurring during the period in which the equipment is under the Renter’s control, except where such loss or damage is covered by valid and approved insurance.

In the event of damage, the amount payable will be determined based on the actual cost of inspection, repair, replacement parts and any directly related expenses.

In the event of loss, theft or damage beyond economical repair, the Renter may be charged the replacement cost of the same equipment or an equivalent current model.

The rental period is agreed upon when the booking is confirmed.

Equipment must be returned on the agreed date and time and in the same technical and physical condition in which it was received, allowing for normal wear resulting from proper professional use.

All returned equipment and accessories are subject to inspection by Anamorphstudio.

Late returns may result in an additional rental charge, particularly where the delay affects a subsequent confirmed booking.

If an extension of the rental period is required, the Renter must contact Anamorphstudio in advance. Any extension is subject to equipment availability and must be expressly confirmed by Anamorphstudio.

All accessories supplied with the equipment form part of the rental package and must be returned together with the main equipment.

Missing or damaged batteries, chargers, cables, memory cards, adapters, caps, cases, filters, mounting components and other accessories will be charged according to the actual cost of repair or replacement.

Consumable items, where applicable, are agreed separately.

In the event of cancellation of a confirmed booking, advance payments may be non refundable where the equipment has been reserved exclusively for the Renter and Anamorphstudio has declined other rental requests for the same period.

Specific cancellation conditions may be agreed separately depending on the scale, duration and value of the rental.

Equipment may not be taken outside the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria without prior written approval from Anamorphstudio.

International productions may be subject to additional requirements regarding insurance, transportation, customs documentation and security deposits.

The Renter assumes responsibility for the equipment from the moment it is collected until it is physically returned and accepted by Anamorphstudio.

The Renter is also responsible for the actions of crew members and any other persons who are given access to or permitted to operate the rented equipment.

If a technical issue occurs during the rental period, the Renter must contact Anamorphstudio as soon as reasonably possible and discontinue use of the equipment where continued operation could cause further damage.

Where possible, Anamorphstudio will assist in identifying the issue and finding an appropriate technical solution or replacement equipment.

The availability of identical replacement equipment cannot be guaranteed.

Confirmation of a booking, payment of an advance or collection of the equipment constitutes acceptance of these Equipment Rental Terms & Conditions.

Anamorphstudio reserves the right to apply additional conditions to specific productions, high value equipment, international rentals or other circumstances involving increased operational or financial risk.
